The Department of Electronic Engineering in Sogang University's School of Engineering fosters holistic electronic engineers with the creativity, adaptability, and judgment required to solve practical problems.

Electronic engineering is a discipline that leads core fields in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including computer science, semiconductors, information, wired and wireless communication, home appliances, robotics, and imaging. In addition, the electronics industry belongs to a high-techno-intensive value-added industry with accelerated speed in technological development, serving as a cradle for venture industries.
