Prof. Changjoo Nam received Young Scientist Award from KROS

Professor Changjoo Nam of the Department of Electronic Engineering at our university was selected as the recipient of the Young Scientist Award, presented by the Korea Robotics Society. The award ceremony took place on December 1st at the Seoul SC Convention during the regular meeting of the society. This award is designed to recognize the capabilities of outstanding young scientists under the age of 40 who show promise in the field of robotics-related academic or technological research.

Professor Nam, who directs the AI Robotics Lab. (https://airobotics.sogang.ac.kr), is engaged in research on task and motion planning algorithms, as well as reinforcement learning for robots to formulate plans necessary to achieve goals assigned to robots. In particular, he is actively conducting research on multiple robots collaborating to perform diverse tasks and enhance the efficiency of task execution.
