Graduate
Master's Degree Program
The candidate must earn at least 24 credits in courses offered or accpted by the department. The number of credits from basic level courses shall not exceed 9. The candidate must pass the qualifying exam. The thesis for the degree must be approved by the thesis committee.
Doctoral Degree Program
The following majors are offered : Semiconductor and electronic materials, Microwave engineering, Control engineering, Digital signal processing, IC/CAD and com-puter systems, and Communication engineering. The candidate must pass the doctoral comprehensive examination. The candidate also must earn at least 51 credits in courses offered or accepted by the department, and those who have a Mater's degree may count the credits earned in the Mater's program as a part of this total. The dissertation must be approved by the dissertation committee.
